Guidance on recording student attendance and absence from 1 June

DFE have now shared their guidance on how to record attendance and absence from next week, in order to complete the daily educational settings status return

Please read daily Bromcom’s guidance on how to record attendance in the MIS, including using four NEW codes which will be available from Monday 1 June.

You should also refer to the daily other Covid-19 related guidance we have already published, to help you complete this return – this includes how to identify and report on critical worker children and those receiving free school meals.

Further enhancements to the MIS

We will be working to enhance the MIS further over the coming weeks to make managing and reporting on attendance during this period even easier – you’ll hear more about that soon.

Attendance webinar on Monday – free for all customers

There are still places on the free attendance webinar on Monday where the above new codes will be covered in a bit more detail. You can sign up daily here.

Of course we recognise how busy all our customers are, so as usual a recording of the session will be uploaded to the documentation centre on Monday afternoon.
