From the 29th to the 31st of March, Bromcom were one of many exhibitors at the ExCel in London for BETT 2023. With a prime location at Stand SD21, BETT once again provided us with great opportunities for networking, making meaningful connections and saying hi to some of our existing customers. Before our focus shifts to upcoming events like the Schools and Academies Show (May 17th) and our annual Shard event (June 21st), we wanted to provide a nice recap of BETT 2023 in our own words.

Preparation
As the old saying goes, if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail. Our preparation for BETT began as far back as January, where we started to discuss merchandise options, social media campaigns and various other details. Given the demand for our Bromcom goodie bags over the 3 days, I think its safe to say that that the months of planning and discussions paid off. Our stand was well staffed and our professionally served hot drinks provided a much-needed respite for visitors and neighbouring exhibitors. Reading materials were also dotted around the stand, providing visitors with key information and contact details for a later date.
Product Demonstrations
Arguably the most important part of our stand were the demo stations. Talking about the product and explaining its many benefits is one thing, but for something as crucial as an MIS, potential customers need to be able to see the system in action and ask questions. With 10 demo stations throughout our stand, there were little to no wait times over the 3 days and our demo’s continually impressed and attracted passers-by. With internal specialists for MATs, Finance, Local Authorities or Education in general, we backed up our product with an abundance of knowledge. We also had a designated Bromcom Community corner, where Darren Moody and co hosted live Coffee Mornings and engagement sessions with guest speakers.
BromcomAI
One of the key features that we were demonstrating at BETT was our all new BromcomAI. This product has been in development for a while, and has a few more weeks ahead to ensure it enhances the Bromcom experience tenfold. Two of the leading BromcomAI developers were personally demonstrating the product at BETT, and the general consensus is the same, AI is here to stay and BromcomAI looks to be an absolute game changer. With the ability to locate key data in seconds, identify trends and even draft emails, BromcomAI is setting a new path for the MIS industry to follow. More BromcomAI content and news will be available soon, until then, you can read our dedicated BromcomAI article here.
Overall
Overall, BETT 2023 was a major success in our eyes. We met some wonderful new people, caught up with some of our lovely customers and were able to comfortably demonstrate why Bromcom is Schools No1 choice for Cloud MIS, Finance and AI! A massive thank you to all of our staff who travelled across the country (or from Scotland in one case!) to ensure everything ran smoothly, and thank you to everybody who came to see us at Stand SD21. Preliminary plans for BETT 2024 are already underway, but our focus now turns to the aforementioned Schools and Academies Show (May 17th) and our annual Shard event (June 21st). More details on both will be published shortly.
